Today, I’ll be talking all about sacrifice and how you have to make sacrifices if you want to grow your business.

Let me start the show off with a couple of quotes:

“There is no change without sacrifice” that’s by Gloria Allred.

“If you don’t sacrifice for what you want, what you want will be sacrificed”

These are two really powerful quotes about sacrificing some things in order to change something for yourself.

So, just like when you have kids and you make a lot of sacrifices when you have kids, if you don’t have kids yet, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about once you do have children, but you put yourself behind your kids, your kids come first. You make a lot of sacrifices in regards to the things that you want to do, make sacrifices in regards to sleep, just like when you guys have kids.

This is the same sacrifices you have to make with your business and be willing to make with your business. Personally, when I started my business, I’ve told the story so many times, I was the sole income provider. I was willing to work as hard as it as I as hard as I could, as many hours as I needed to to be able to cover my overhead expenses and that allowed my wife to stay home with our kids, which was super important for us.

So, that was a sacrifice I was willing to make. I was willing to work 12, 14, 16 hour days in order to bring home enough income so that my wife could stay home.

So, what sacrifices are you guys willing to make right now for your business in order to keep it going?

So, just like you have kids, you have to be willing to put yourself on the back burner and do what’s best for the growth of your business and do what’s best for your family if you’re trying to meet your overhead expenses.

So, sacrifices are required.

What do you need to give up? What sacrifices do you need to make in order to start generating additional revenue for your business? And also, what are you doing to step up right now in your business?

I want you guys to ask yourself this question, what are you willing to do to get your business to where you need it to be and what sacrifices are you willing to make? And then also ask yourself, are you doing all that you can right now in your business in order to make your business what you want it to be or to keep it going?

Are you doing everything that you can right now? Serious questions to ask yourself and really, truly think about deeply think about what things can you do to step up in your business? What things can you sacrifice in order to give more time to your business, to make more phone calls, to reach out to more prospects, to try to figure out how you can generate additional revenue streams, reaching out to joint venture partners, reaching out to people of influence that can refer you business.

Are you doing all that you can right now in your business?

It’s going to take sacrifice. If we’re going to get over this hurdle and we’re going to keep our businesses going and we’re going to keep generating revenue and being able to support ourselves. It’s going to take sacrifice. Business takes sacrifice. If you want to grow your business, it’s going to require sacrifice on your end.

The whole basis of this podcast is just trying to get you guys to understand that when you’re trying to grow something, when you’re trying to make something happen for yourself, when you’re trying to grow your business, when you’re trying to have a larger impact on your community, it doesn’t come without sacrifice.

It doesn’t automatically just happen for you guys. But the thing is that you’re doing this for yourself. You’re doing this for your family. And so when you’re sacrificing, it doesn’t necessarily always feel like a sacrifice. It feels it’s very rewarding when you start seeing the fruits of your labor start to come and you start seeing your business going, you start seeing the impact you’re having on your community.

You start being able to bring home additional revenue so that you can support your family and do extra things as well. So, there is no change without sacrifice. Just like when you have children, you’re going to put yourself on the back burner. The same is true in your business. Your business is your baby, and you’re trying to get that your business to grow, trying to get your business to start picking up steam and trying to get systems going in your business, just like I teach all the time about all the systems that you need in order to get your business going so that you can scale and bring other people into your business.

But in the start, you’re just trying to get all of those things going and it’s going to require some sacrifice on your end. That’s going to require a lot more hours on your hand. It’s going to require you to do the things that you might be uncomfortable with right now, but the sacrifices necessary if you want to grow your business.

What are you willing to do? What are you willing to do to make that happen? What are you willing to give up?

What are you willing to do to step up in order to start growing your business? And then also, what are you doing all that you can right now ask yourself this question, what can I be doing? What more can I be doing to drive in leads to my business. Who can I be reaching out to? Who can I start doing additional business with? How can I add additional revenue streams to my business?

All these questions that you need to ask and growing your business is going to take sacrifice.

I know that you guys can do this. I just want to lay this out for you guys because growing a business requires sacrifice. A lot of times we just see somebody that is on in their journey several years and they’ve already started picking up steam and they’ve got systems in their business and we want to automatically be there. But they didn’t get there overnight, it’s a process of them growing their businesses and learning and sacrificing their time to get their business to where they wanted it to be.
